When we think of products for public health and development we rarely think of profitability. They’re often distributed for free and difficult to scale. HappyTap is changing the game. A young Vietnamese-based startup used human-centered design to develop the LaBobo, a portable sink to get young families washing their hands. Using a market-based approach, they aim to prevent hundreds of thousands of deaths associated with dirty hands.
This year, GIFT, through their Global Leadership Programme, is helping the business expand and develop partnerships to manufacture and distribute the device at scale.
Join us on April 29th to hear strategic recommendations from executives in the private and public sectors and take part in the discussion on the commercial opportunities to improve public health.
